La Côte
On y vinifiait des Muscats célèbres, du Rappu apprécié et des vins pleins de personnalité. On y trouve les cépages traditionnels ainsi que l’Aleatico et le Codivarta qui est admis dans l’appellation Vin de Corse-Coteaux du Cap Corse.

La mine de CANARI
Il est des choses dont les habitants du Cap Corse se passeraient bien. La mine de Canari en fait partie. Cette mine d’amiante, véritable verrue sur le versant ouest du cap, alimente bien des conversations, et laisse un goût amer à tous ceux qui ont payé de leur santé ou ont perdu un ami, un membre de leur famille à cause de ce matériau.

NONZA
Dire qu’au 19éme siècle cette plage n’existait pas, cela paraît incroyable vue son étendue aujourd’hui. Elle s’est formée grâce au rejet en mer de millions de m3 de résidus d’amiante extraits de la carrière exploitant la mine de Canari plus au nord pendant des décennies. Ce sont ces résidus qui donnent cette couleur sombre à la plage.

Village de NONZA
Ce village donne le vertige, entre ciel et mer, il est accroché au sommet d’une falaise de 167 mètres au dessus de la mer. Il est dominé par une tour carrée dite « paoline » car édifiée à la demande de Pascal PAOLI en 1760.

La plage de NONZA
Grâce aux rares galets blancs de la plage, on peut constituer un dessin, écrire un mot aux proportions démultipliées, remonter jusqu’au village et… avoir la joie de voir son « oeuvre » qui se détache sur la plage noire, et temporairement faire partie intégrante du paysage ! Avis aux courageux !

La marine de NEGRU
La mer est particulièrement agitée à cet endroit. Lors de la tempête de 1999, les vagues passaient au dessus de la maison qui a d’ailleurs été très endommagée.

BASTIA
C’est une citée méditerranéenne dont le cœur est constitué de deux quartiers : Terra Nova au sud et Terra Vecchia au nord. Chacun possède ses trésors, la citadelle pour le premier et la vieux port pour le second. Mais c’est la place Saint Nicolas qui est le centre animé de la ville, entouré de ruelles étroites dans lesquelles le linge pend encore entre les vieux immeubles.
